Dear Shashi
As usual you have done a great "discovery". Rajaparameshwari Dam looks as wonderful as you are.
Please let me know the direction of how to reach there. Would like to make it on one of the weekends.

Thanks for the response,
You need to take a left on the Bangalore-Mysore ring road and again take a keft towards Mahadevpura Junction. Travel on the road for about 10-12 Kms. You will find a small village (name unknown). You need to ask for Raja Parameshwari Dam ( don’t be surprised if people say there is no dam here). Some people also call it Mahadevpura canal. But you will reach a small village before Mahadevpura Bridge (they take a toll of Rs 7 to cross the Bridge you do not have to take this bridge; this place is 2KM before the Bridge)Take a right at the village circle and travel on the road for not more than 500-600 Mts. You will find a small board called Kaveri Nigama Raja Parameshwari dam on the left of the road (hidden behind the shrubs) travel on this road (unmetalled for nearly 300 Meters, you will reach the Bank of Raja Parameshwari Dam
